About us

One team, from silicon to screen.

picoBytes (PICOBYTES PVT LTD) is an engineering company in Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu. We build electronics, firmware and software, and we’re happiest when a project needs all three.

Why we work this way

Products today are rarely just hardware or just software. A smart meter needs a board, firmware, a cloud back end and an app. A kiosk needs a custom Android build, a touch interface and an admin panel. When each piece comes from a different vendor, the gaps between them are where projects stall.

So we built a team that covers every layer. The engineers who choose the microcontroller also design the API and build the screens. Decisions get made once, with the whole system in mind, and you have one partner accountable for the result.

We work the same way on software-only projects. A website, store or web app gets the same engineering care: fast, secure, documented and built to keep growing.

What we believe

How we treat every project.

Working builds over slide decks

We show progress with things you can hold, click and test, from the first milestones.

The whole system in mind

Every decision considers the hardware, the software and the people who will use and maintain it.

Plain language

Clear estimates, honest trade-offs and updates you don’t need an engineering degree to read.

You own the work

Source code, design files and documentation are handed over, so you’re never locked in.

How we work

Small steps, working builds.

  1. Discover

We map the requirement, constraints and budget, and agree on what “done” looks like.

  2. Prototype

A proof-of-concept board, clickable design or first build that tests the riskiest parts early.

  3. Build

Development in short milestones with regular demos, on real hardware and real screens.

  4. Launch & support

Production handover, store or server deployment, and updates after release.
