IoT Solutions

IoT, from sensor to dashboard.

Connected devices, secure cloud back ends and live dashboards that turn sensor data into decisions, built and supported as one system.

IoT Solutions at picoBytes

An IoT product is only as strong as its weakest link. A great dashboard is useless if devices keep dropping offline, and reliable devices are wasted if no one can see their data. We build every link: the device, the connection, the back end and the apps people use.

We design for real deployments: weak networks, power cuts, devices that need setting up in the field and data that must be stored securely. You get a system you can monitor, update and scale.

What’s included

What we do

Connected devices

Sensor nodes and gateways with Wi-Fi, BLE, LoRa, cellular or wired connectivity.

Provisioning & security

Device onboarding, certificates and encrypted communication.

Cloud back end

MQTT brokers, REST APIs, databases and rules for alerts and automation.

Dashboards

Real-time web dashboards with charts, maps, alerts and user roles.

Mobile apps

Apps for device setup, control and notifications on Android and iOS.

Fleet management

Remote monitoring, OTA firmware updates and device health reports.

How we work

From first call to launch

  1. Discover

We map the requirement, constraints and budget, and agree on what “done” looks like.

  2. Prototype

A proof-of-concept board, clickable design or first build that tests the riskiest parts early.

  3. Build

Development in short milestones with regular demos, on real hardware and real screens.

  4. Launch & support

Production handover, store or server deployment, and updates after release.

FAQ

Common questions

Which cloud platform do you use?

We choose based on your scale and budget: a simple server with MQTT and a database for small fleets, or AWS, Firebase and similar platforms when you need managed scaling.

What happens when a device loses its connection?

We design devices to buffer data locally and sync when the connection returns, and the dashboard shows which devices are offline.

Can you connect our existing devices to a dashboard?

Yes. If your devices already send data over Modbus, serial, MQTT or HTTP, we can build a gateway or back end that brings them into a dashboard.

Who owns the data?

You do. The system runs on your own cloud account or server, and you have full access to the database and code.
